im back!!

Sorry all of my nonexistant readers for the long absence!! ive just been so stressed and busy. Plus my computer is broken and this is the first time ive been able to get to one! At this moment I am in Livingston Montana visiting my grandparents. Its very cold, and yet we still rode our bikes to DQ to actually eat ICE-CREAM in 39 degree weather! The play went great btw if any of you were wondering! Im actually out of things to say!...
oh yeah! MY band director is a total IDioT!!! idk what goes through this mans mind, but whatever it is is horrible and stupid. Dont get me wrong, hes a good guy and all, but he has no time-managment skills, picks horrid music, and sumtimes i really have to wonder bout his intelligence! but other than that hes great, you cant help but love him....
its about one-eleven in the am here so i guess im gunna get off and say farewell till next time

think about these things while till nxt time:

1>How come cartoon characters that don't wear clothes during the day wear pajamas at night?

2>Did you ever notice when you are sitting at a red light that when the person in front of you pulls up a couple of inches you are compelled to move up too? Do we really think we are making progress toward our destination? "Whew, I thought we'd be late, but now that I am nine inches closer I can stop for coffee and a danish!"

3>On a Chips Ahoy bag it says the cookies are made with real chocolate chips. Well does that mean that they're not made with real cookie dough? Since they tell us that they're made with real chocolate chips, then why don't they tell us about the cookie dough? Could it be that the cookie dough is fake?

IM BACK!!!

Hey you guys! I know i havent been on in FOREVER!, but I have been VERY SOOPER DOOPER BUSY! I went to the JROTC Military Ball with my friend Jon, we had a BLAST! Afterward, we went bowling in our formals lol its was LOADS of fun. As you may know, I am performing in The Leader of the Pack at Brookland-Cayce High. The director decided to put me in the majority of the songs so i have no time to change and all the vital stuff lol. A lot of people have been saying it will suck and nobody will come to see it, but it may be a but rough around the edges rite now, but im sure it will get better. we just have to have some faith. I'd like to prove to those people that they are wrong and we can pull of this musical. You people need to come see it!! ITs Thursday the 5th and Friday the 6th, $5 a ticket!

Quote of the day: "The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do. "

Ive been really busy with home stuff as well, but that would take to long to explain :) other than that, nothing whatsoever, well band has been cool as well, i am now playin the french horn... and the only one at that! we are playing these songs for festival:

  1. Sound Off

  2. Toccata for Band

  3. Gathering of the Yeomen

so ive been busy and bored all at the same time if that is even possible, but somehow I hve managed! im goin to get off now to SPare you of your brain cells, I'll be sure to be on again to post more meaningful things... until then i bid you adieu...

Parade

Today was our Cayce Parade of Lights.! It was sooo much fun... NOT! It was exausting. First I didn't wake up in time to go to church, so i had to stay home and clean the house. Now when I say clean I mean clean. My step-dad makes sure of it. He has always treated me differently than his kids., But I had to clean the kitchen, bathroom, livin room, dining room, back porch, front porch, sister's room, and both my brother's rooms, and I had to sweep and mop. I had to be at the school at 3:30 to get on my uniform and get lighted for the parade. That was a hassle. It took forever!! When we got to the start of the parade, we had to wait about 30 minutes. The parade finally started. We got in line and started playing our music, it all went well until we ahd played it about 6-7 times. People were dropping cymbals and flip folders all over the place! But besides that, it went well. By the time we got about halfway through, my hands started falling asleep lol. My back was acheing and my arms were sore, but I survived. And those are the reasons I do not enjoy parades lol.

So I know I haven't been bologging everyday like I promised lol, But I'll keep trying. Not much has changed since I last blogged. So far my friend made me audition for the school's musical "Leader of the Pack" that went well, we both made it and i am playing Mickey one of the Jivettes. I am lovin' my first line which goes like this... "Yeah, Elvis was drafted. I'm going to kill myself." lol Im really super excited! Rehearsals started last week, but I couldnt start until next week because of prior band obligations. The Cayce Parade of Lights is coming up on sunday, and i get to be in it...duh lol im in band. For those of you who think that doing parades sounds like soooooo much fun... it ISN"T! you get to march in straight lines and play the same song a hundred times and start and stop and start and stop. The reason I missed those rehearsals is because I had to be at PARADE PRACTICE! I mean who has to practice for a parade if your in band?! if you've been in band for a whole marching semester, you should know by now how to march in a straight line dontcha think? But nooo, we can't do that simple thing. But the good part about the parade is we get to wear lights on our uniforms, since it is the Parade of Lights lol.

thats about all I have for today i guess...

So I'll leave you with one thing to ponder while im away...

  1. Since light travels faster than sound, isn't that why some peopleappear bright until you hear them speak?

  2. Whose cruel idea was it for the word "lisp" to have an "s" in it?

  3. Why do they sterilize needles for lethal injections?

  4. If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

I survived!!

So today was Thanksgiving. I spent my time with my grandmother in Summerville. Now i'm use to big get togethers at holidays and children and all that... after all i am the all powerful babysitter for any of my relatives and their friends. Today i was the only person willing to hang out with the kids. There were 3 of them, so it wasn't that bad. I even sat at the KIDDIE TABLE with them lol. im soo nice :) I love these kids but man did they wear me out. I had to stop eating at one point to help the little girl to the bathroom... which was a treat, we played mutiple games, watched Mighty Joe Young, and while eating they all exclamed that there was turkey and mashed potatoes under the table. Guess who had to clean that mess up. I'll give you a hint... ME! But it was a very enjoyable and noisey thanksgiving, and I had a really good time.

Happy Thanksgiving

"If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, "thank you," that would suffice." ~Meister Eckhart

So tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I love this holiday, not only for the tremendous amount of food that i consume every year (lol) but also for the amount of time i get to spend with my family that I don't see very often. Many people have turned this holiday into an excuse to just eat a lot and watch football. Many don't treasure the time with family and realize all that they are thankful for. Every year my family gets together and has a huge feast. We cook everything that we can find that just tastes good. And we share it with all our friends. We have one upstanding tradition, we all sit down after syaing the blessing and go around the table telling what we are thankful for. I have a list of things that I am thankful for that I would like to share with you:

  1. My family

  2. The grace of God

  3. being alive and well

  4. having friends

  5. my gifts that God has given me

  6. clothes on my back

  7. a place to live

  8. an education

There are many more things that I am thankful for, but i don't want to bore you with my list :) Remember that you should always be thankful for what you have everyday, when you wake up in the morning you should thank God that you woke up .

"Thanksgiving was never meant to be shut up in a single day." ~Robert Caspar Lintner
